Peoplesoft (8.8) Course
This course provides a deep insight into Peoplesoft ERP application platform. Participants will learn different aspects of implementation, upgrading and supporting Peoplesoft applications. Participants will analyze and understand functional requirements documents, study Fit-gap analysis and come up with Technical-design as a solution to the functional requirements. The goal is to help participant's take-up a rewarding career as a Techno-functional resource in Peoplesoft ERP segment. Participants will learn from implementation to production support tasks from a practical standpoint.

Day2
- Introduction to App Designer and Objects inside App Designer.
- Create Fields, Records, Pages, Menus & Components by building a proto-type application.
- Designing Pages with Parent/child relationships.
- Using Sub-records/Sub-Pages/Secondary Pages.
Day3
- Tableset Sharing.
- Different Product Lines/Modules in Peoplesoft.
- Functional Overview of a Module.
- Peoplesoft Security - Object level & Rowlevel.
- Controlling access using Search Records.
- Unit Testing the Application.
- Migrating Objects to different Instances (Dev --> Testing --> Production etc).
Day4
- Introduction to Peoplecode - Different events.
- Object Oriented Peoplecode Vs. Conventional Peoplecode.
- Built in functions, Error Handling, Message Catalogs.
- Functional Overview of a Module.
Day5
- Accessing data from Component Buffer using Rowsets, Records, etc.
- Executing SQL from Peoplecode.
- Debugging Applications using different techniques.
- Peoplesoft’s Query tool - overview of Advanced SQL.
- Peoplesoft’s Reporting tools.
Day6
- Application Engines - Creating, Managing, Debugging.
- Introduction to Component Interfaces.
- Production Support, Implementation & Performing Upgrades - things to note from a Practical standpoint.
